BEFORE YOU PLAY
A few things
worth knowing.
Clear answers about free play, optional purchases and your data.
Is Emozle free?
Yes. Today’s Daily Emozle, all three Kids modes, Social play and joining a friend’s challenge are free. The Archive allows one new Emozle per UTC day, and your first private challenge creation is free.
What does Emozle+ cost?
Emozle+ is an optional one-time purchase, not a subscription. The US App Store lists it at $9.99. US App Store price, checked October 27, 2026. Prices may differ by store and region; the price shown at checkout applies. It removes ads and the free limits on Archive play and private challenge creation. Social publishing safeguards still apply.
When will I see ads?
In the iOS and Android apps, you can choose a rewarded ad for an extra Archive play or private challenge creation after reaching a free limit, when an ad is available. These ads are optional. Kids modes run locally and do not show these rewarded ads. The browser version does not offer native rewarded ads.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for Daily Emozle or local Kids play. Sign in to save and sync supported progress, follow creators, publish in Social, create a private challenge or link an Emozle+ purchase. Joining a shared challenge is free.
What data does Emozle use?
Gameplay and preferences are saved on your device. Daily and Archive guesses also go to our servers with a random guest identifier or your signed-in account so games can be checked and resumed. Signing in provides an account identifier and email address for account features. Purchase providers verify receipts; app-store payments do not give us your full payment-card number.
Why does the store mention location and identifiers?
Our hosting and ad providers process technical data such as IP addresses, which can indicate an approximate location. Where enabled, advertising services may process device and advertising identifiers, consent choices and ad interactions. Camera access is optional for scanning challenge QR codes; scans are not uploaded by that feature. See the privacy policy for the full disclosures and your choices.
How does Kids mode handle data?
Beginner, Advanced and Expert generate or load their games locally and keep local progress. They do not need an account or a gameplay API request. Other parts of the app, including accounts, purchases and online modes, use online services. Parents should be involved before a child uses account or purchase features.
Can I play offline?
All three Kids modes work offline in the native app. In the installed web app, wait for the initial offline download to finish first. Daily, Archive and Social need an internet connection.
How do I buy or restore Emozle+?
Open Settings → Emozle+ and sign in. The purchase screen shows the final price and available purchase or restore controls. On iPhone, payment is handled by the App Store; on Android, by Google Play. Use the store account used for the purchase when restoring.
Who is Emozle for?
Emozle is for people who enjoy a daily clue, logical guesses and a streak to return to. If you like Wordle-style daily games, try making connections with pictures. Kids mode is a separate, skill-based starting point for families: picture matching first, written hints when ready.
